On our Web Sites page are links to web sites of a wide range of Composers, Performing Artists (solo and ensemble performers), Musical Organizations and Festivals, and other Music and Music-related sites. Included are performers like Joshua Bell, Gabriela Montero, and VOCO, professional organizations like Chorus America, and Goldberg - The Early-Music Portal, composer forums such as the Canadian Music Centre and American Composers Forum, performing organizations and festivals like Band in a Can, Celtic Cultural Alliance, and Composers such as John Metcalf, John Adams, and Sarah Hopkins.
Our Featured Composers page focuses on particularly interesting, noteworthy, creative, and mostly contemporary composers. They include biographies, discussions of compostitions, lists of works, discographies, references, resources, and/or links to audio recordings, etc. Composers such as Paul Schwartz, Eric Whitacre, Meredith Monk, and Kenji Bunch are listed.
The Featured Performers page includes an array of individual and group artists who are leaders in their particular genre, unique and/or forward-looking in their approach to the performing art. Find such groups as The East Village Opera Company, Band in a Can and Theatre of Voices, or solo artists like Bonnie Rideout, Ben Hepner and Joshua Bell.
The Repertoire page lists recommended choral/vocal and instrumental works with scoring and publisher information. Many of the entries include sample scores and/or audio/video recordings.
